For those of you who intend going on this camping trip over the Labour Day weekend - you can now book on line.I am asking everyone to make their own reservations as it would be too difficult to try to co-ordinate everyone's schedules and collect payments.When you make your reservations,you have to pay up front with a credit card ($32/night) but they don't give you a specific campsite - this you get on arrival.I'll be getting up there in the early afternoon of Friday,Sept.1 so I can call to let you know which "loop" we are in so that you can request sites close by when you arrive.
The website is : www.pccamping.ca. Click on Banff National Park,then Tunnel Mountain Village 1 campground,then unserviced campsite with firepit (the $32/night includes firewood). As we've done before, we can share campsites.
Please let me know if you intend coming on this trip.
