A message from David Simpson, Saracens icehockey organizer extraordinaire.
The annual Saracens ice hockey fun is going to happen on Saturday May 5, 1.45pm at the Crowchild Arena.
For those who have not experienced this it involves field hockey players trying to play ice hockey.
For those wanting to rent equipment. Sport Rent in Bowness was renting last year, haven't checked this year
If anybody knows any goalkeepers it would be great to get them involved. As normal any goalkeepers play for free.
For the rest of us the rink will cost $200. This usually means it is $10/head
Any friends can play, just remind them that it is really social.
After the game, there will be a barbeque at my place 11 Citadel Grove NW. Any Saracen and guests are invited. If you can take your own meat, or vegetable substitute, I'm sure I can persuade the club to pay for some salads and pop.
