Once a year or so we get the skates out and have a go at that other form of hockey that is often enjoyed in these parts. Yes, it's again time for our annual ice hockey game.
This year it will take place on Saturday May 6th from 2:15 to 3:30 pm at the Crowchild twin arena. Since many of us aren't native Canadians, the game will be verymuch on the friendly side and participants should be prepared for participants at a variety of skill levels. What this does mean is that if you've never played before and don't skate too well (or at all) then that's fine with us. You won't be the only one.
The game is being organized by David Simpson (david.simpson@shaw.ca). He would like to know if you are interested in coming along so that we can make sure that we have enough people. After the game, there will be a barbeque at David's place so ask hime for details if that interests you.
