• (14/04/07) Have an old stick that you don't need anymore? We are looking to put together a small collection of sticks for people who don't have their stick or have forgotten their stick. An old stick that still has some life in it would be an ideal candidate for this collection. It should be a stick that is still usable in a league game. If you have such a stick available, let us know.

• (25/01/06) The U19 women's indoor national chempionships are being held in Calgary this year. The organizers are looking for volunteers to help out with stuff like tech-tableing and match report writing. Details
• (20/01/06) Interested in coaching for the first time but don't know where to start? The kids are getting into the field hockey, you'd like to help out with their team but you would like to learn more about the game? The Community Coaching workshop is just the thing for you. Run by Field Hockey Alberta in cooperation with Field Hockey Canada and the province of Alberta this workshop will be run on the weekend on February 4-5 and will cover what you need to know to begin coaching young players and beginners of all ages. • (11/09/05) FHAC is organizing a fall pickup league.
• (28/08/05) We have accepted a challenge from a touring team of "senior players" called the Ancient Britons. We will be forming a special Saracens team made of "senior players" for the game which is scheduled to take place at the U of C turf 7pm, Thursday the 8th of June 2006. We are hoping to organize a social function to mark the occasion. If you are a current or former Saracens player and you think you'd like to play in this game, please get in contact with us.
• (28/08/05) Some Saracens have been competing at the recent World Masters Games in Edmonton.

• (28/08/05) Third Annual Saracens Cricket game on August 27th at Calgary Irish. Scorecard and statistics can be found here.
• (18/08/05) The outdoor season is finished for another year. Congratulations to the Quads and Toos on for placing 2nd and 4th in regular season. The Quads get the intraclub bragging rights by winning the series 2-1 but the Toos get some comfort from the fact that the `1' was in the 3rd/4th playoff game. Watch this space for information on the upcoming indoor season.
