The England XV Hockey Club, a team made up of experienced players, is touring Canada this year and will play two matches in Calgary. FHAC is putting together an equally experienced team to play them. Saracens probably has the mortgage on experience in men's field hockey in Calgary and as such we provide about 50% of the FHAC team. The matches should be a good watch and will be followed by social functions. The games are both at the U of C pitch with the first being Friday May 8 starting at 7pm and the second being Saturday May 9 starting at 2pm. Following the first match we will repair to Schanks in Crowfoot for some drinks, eats and lies about how good we were in the day. Following the Saturday match there will be a barbeque at the pitch.
