The Calgary Artificial Turf Facility is now ready for play at the University of Calgary!  Construction started in the fall of 2002 after many years of hard work by a number of Calgary Association volunteers.  The pitch is located just west of the Olympic Skating Oval and was finished in October 2004.; The view below was taken in the fall of 2002 from the southwest corner of the new field, looking east towards the Olympic Oval.

Calgary's Tim Hawkings has been a driving force behind the new turf field.  He's shown below checking out progress at the construction site.
